Recently people were complaining about network errors while setup up Battle.net on Windows. I remember I was also facing this issue but used some methods that worked for me.

1. Clear cookies of Browser

Try to clear the cache and cookies in your browser, or try a different browser.

To clear cache and cookies of your browser follow steps given below:
  1. On your computer, open you Browser.
  2. At the top right, click More .
  3. Click More tools. Clear browsing data.
  4. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
  5. Next to “Cookies and other site data” and “Cached images and files,” check the boxes.(This will logout you from all sites.)
  6. Click Clear data.

2. Use another server

Try a different region link. If you are trying to download the US version, try the EU version instead and vice versa. This is because it will use the different region’s patch servers which can help with connection issues to the home region patch servers.

3. Update your Browser

Old version of your browser may have some issues that result this issue. So to update the browser you can simply follow steps given below.

  1. On your computer, open your Browser.
  2. At the top right, click More .
  3. Click Help. About go to About section.
  4. Click Update option. Important: If you can’t find this button, you’re on the latest version.
  5. After downloading, Click Relaunch.

4. Try different Browser

If you facing this problem on particular browser then you can use another browser where you may not see this Network error.

5. Check your internet

If you are using a Wi-Fi router then try to connect another device to check if your internet is working properly then to to reboot the Wi-Fi router.

If you are using cellular network then make sure your internet speed is fast enough to download the file.
